Job Summary
Prepare and monitor dialysis equipment and water treatment systems, including quality control checks. Perform and document pre-, intra-, and post-dialysis assessments while initiating, monitoring, and terminating treatments per policy. Dispense medications, administer blood products, and interpret lab reports for nephrologists. Provide renal education to patients and families, and serve as the primary contact for nephrologists and hospital staff. Adhere to all DCI and hospital policies, completing occurrence reports as necessary. Full-time shifts vary from four 10-hour days (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM) with weekly on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Current New York RN license
- Current CPR and BLS certifications

- Six months' dialysis and/or critical care nursing experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated clinical proficiency
- Desire to collaborate with care teams
- Ability to problem solve
- Customer service mindset in communicating with patients, team members and partner hospital
