Dialysis(HD) Technician - PRN

Job Summary
Conduct hemodialysis therapy for assigned patients under the supervision of Registered Nurses, performing vascular access cannulation, obtaining vital signs, and monitoring patient response to treatment. Prepare dialysis equipment, including Tablo device setup and machine safety checks, while overseeing disinfection and maintenance of dialysis machines and water treatment systems. Document pre, intra, and post-treatment assessments, interventions, and unusual findings, and report changes in patient condition directly to the HD RN. Obtain and label laboratory specimens, manage safety alarms, and ensure compliance with clinical, infection control, and regulatory policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- at least 6 months' experience as hemodialysis technician
- CCHT
- Center for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS) approved state and/or national certification
- Licensure, education and training per state requirements
- Meets necessary requirements of Ishihara's Color Blindness Test
- BLS

- Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility
