Job Summary
Clinical Manager leads clinic operations and patient care delivery for dialysis patients, providing coaching and development for direct reports, coordinating with HR, Quality, and Technical Services, and overseeing the Home Therapies Program. Responsible for maintaining medical/operational records integrity, ICD coding, and annual reviews. Manages clinic financials, supplies, and regulatory surveys; coordinates patient care from admission to discharge, educates patients on quality measures, transplant options, and modality awareness; ensures timely care plans and schedules. Leads staff hiring, training, and evaluations; maintains knowledge of benefits/policies; builds physician relationships and participates in governing-body interdisciplinary teams. Requires Bachelor’s degree, RN licensure, and 6+ years of healthcare operations experience, 12 months nursing experience, 6 months dialysis nursing, and the Ishihara color vision test. Travel between facilities may be required; opportunities for advancement into areas such as Area Team Lead or Director of Operations through the Clinical Leadership Program.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN)
- Current state licensure
- 6+ years business operations experience in a healthcare facility
- 12 months experience in clinical nursing
- 6 months chronic or acute dialysis nursing experience
- Successfully pass the Ishihara Color Blind Test
