Job Summary
Dialysis Clinic LVN/LPN role performing essential patient care duties under supervision of a Charge Nurse. Responsibilities include assisting with patient care and operational needs, obtaining blood samples for lab analyses as required, documenting monthly medication profiles, and reporting significant changes in patient condition. Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in patient records; communicate with physicians and healthcare professionals; participate in staff meetings and ongoing education; assist with staff training. Requires an active LVN/LPN license, CPR within 90 days of hire, color discrimination ability, and completion of USRC training within 8 weeks. Proficiency in clinical applications and English communication is required; prior dialysis experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current LVN/LPN license in applicable state
- CPR certification within 90 days of hire
- Ability to distinguish all primary colors
- Dialysis experience preferred
- Successful completion of USRC training program approved by the Medical Director within 8 weeks of hire
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language
- Ability to organize time and tasks
- Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire
- Must meet applicable state practice requirements
