Job Summary
Demonstrate effective use of supplies and staff labor hours while obtaining blood samples for laboratory analysis and completing monthly medication profile reviews. Perform duties as assigned to meet patient care or operational needs, including maintaining thorough documentation of treatments, activities, and communications with healthcare professionals. Report significant patient condition changes or machine problems to the Charge Nurse and Administrator. Assist with billing log preparation, staff training, and in-service education offerings in compliance with company policy and applicable state and federal laws.
Required Qualifications
- Current LVN/LPN license in applicable state
- License must be maintained as current and in good standing
- CPR certification required within 90 days of hire
- Confirmation of ability to distinguish all primary colors
- Successful completion of USRC training program approved by the Medical Director, including demonstrated competency, within 8 weeks of hire
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Must be able to organize time and tasks well
- Must have basic computer skills
- Proficiency in all USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire
- Must meet any practice requirement(s) for the applicable state
Desired Qualifications
- Previous dialysis experience preferred
