Job Summary
The Dialysis Chronic Care Registered Nurse (RN) provides and coordinates clinically competent care for patients in a hemodialysis setting. This role involves assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with healthcare teams and supervising nurse assistants.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current appropriate state licensure
- Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification
- 12 months or more of Recent Dialysis experience required
- Must have a minimum of 9 months experience as a RN
- Must have a minimum of 3 months experience in chronic/acute hemodialysis as a RN
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of Nephrology Nursing experience in the last two years as a RN
- Chronic hemodialysis experience
Additional Requirements
- Candidates are required to take the Ishihara's Color Blindness test as a condition of employment
- Floating requirement: Client required candidates to float to area sites within 50 miles of the main site
- There is a minimum guarantee of 36 hours per week
