Job Summary
Dialysis Charge Registered Nurse leads the hemodialysis team and provides day-to-day direction and supervision to direct patient care staff. Communicates with the physician and care team to interpret, adjust, and complete patient care plans, ensuring safe, effective delivery of dialysis in compliance with facility procedures and regulations. Responsibilities include staff guidance, performance feedback, and participation in staffing decisions; coordinating with the Clinical Manager, and supervising documentation and patient education on ESRD, dialysis therapy, diet, and medications. The role requires RN licensure, a nursing degree from an accredited program, dialysis training, and the ability to travel between facilities; no remote work is indicated.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (R.N.)
- Current appropriate state licensure
- Minimum of 9 months nursing experience and an additional 3 months dialysis clinical experience
- Nurse in charge experience/ supervisory experience preferred
- Successful completion of a training course in hemodialysis
