Job Summary
Obtain and review new patient information and consent forms before initial treatment, then assist and oversee staff in initiating, monitoring, and terminating dialysis treatments. Coordinate patient scheduling with the nurse manager to maximize resources, manage clinic operations following safety guidelines when the manager is absent, and communicate patient status to physicians. Participate in patient care conferences, medical rounds, and chart reviews to document progress, while contributing to risk management, QAPI, and infection control committees. Supervise primary nursing teams and non-licensed staff, support training of new hires, and provide feedback for staff performance reviews. Manage monthly patient lab work and ensure patient education compliance with ESRD Network and regulatory agencies. Full-time, three 12-hour shifts starting at 5am; pay range $38-$44 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Current AL RN license
- One year of dialysis nursing experience
Desired Qualifications
- Supervisory experience preferred
