Dialysis Biomedical Equipment Technician

Job Summary
Repair and maintenance of dialysis and water treatment equipment, along with related test equipment and facility infrastructure, following manufacturer guidance and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include documenting repairs, handling high-voltage systems, managing service parts inventory and warranty parts, supporting QAPI initiatives, collecting and processing water/dialysate samples, coordinating with facility staff to meet OSHA/regulatory standards, and occasional travel to other clinics. Works 36-hour shifts with potential for travel and scheduling flexibility. Requires high school diploma or GED; AA in electronics/biomedical tech preferred; valid driver’s license and ability to travel; previous dialysis/medical experience preferred; color vision and strong English communication skills essential. Location: Juneau, AK.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- AA degree in electronics, biomedical technology, or equivalent preferred
- Previous dialysis, hospital, or medical experience preferred
- Color vision (ability to distinguish all primary colors)
- Certifications must be current
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to travel to other clinics; overnight travel may be required
- Ability to work independently; flexible schedule
- Strong English communication skills
