Job Summary
Dial Screener duties include screening district students for vision and hearing with proper certification, and serving as an interpreter for students, staff, and parents. Responsibilities also include compiling and entering hearing and vision result data into a district computer program, filing and organizing results from preschool screenings and hearing/vision screenings, and submitting information to the assigned coordinator. Requires ability to speak, read, and write English and the stated qualifications; must maintain appropriate certification for screening activities.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree or Minimum High School Diploma
- State of Illinois Hearing/Vision Certification
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be able to speak, read and write English
