Job Summary
Activate and develop programs for people in their fifties and sixties, fostering intergenerational connection within the Barmbek-Dulsberg neighborhood. Manage ongoing work, conceptually evolve initiatives, and set new accents while addressing personal, social, and spiritual changes associated with aging. Support active volunteers and new recruits by creating space for their own project ideas and facilitating their independent implementation. Collaborate with local institutions like the "Life in Old Age" station and the Barmbek°Basch center to strengthen community networks. Recognize target group needs empathetically to design appropriate offerings. The role begins January 1, 2027, with a full-time, permanent schedule. Applicants must demonstrate an active commitment to the Evangelical-Lutheran faith in North Germany or a member church of the Evangelical Church in Germany.
Required Qualifications
- abgeschlossene Qualifikation als Diakonin/Diakon bzw. Sozialpädagogin/Sozialpädagogen oder Gemeindepädagogen/Gemeindepädagogin oder eine gleichwertige Ausbildung
- aktives Bekenntnis zum evangelischen Glauben
- Mitgliedschaft in der Evangelisch-Lutherischen Kirche in Norddeutschland oder einer anderen Gliedkirche der Evangelischen Kirche in Deutschland
