Job Summary
Diagnostic Imaging technologist responsibilities include performing radiographic procedures to produce high-quality images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner, ensuring ALARA principles to minimize exposure, preparing and positioning patients, venipuncture and possible administration of medications under supervision, reviewing and documenting orders, maintaining image quality and records, contributing to quality assurance, and supporting education for students/residents. Requires ARRT radiography certification, an Associates degree in Radiology or equivalent, state licensure, and BLS within 60 days of hire; minimum 5 years radiography experience. Schedule includes part-time hours across Center City and Navy Yard locations in Philadelphia with no weekends, and benefits such as healthcare eligibility and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Radiography Technologist
- Minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program
- ARRT certification in Radiography and current ARRT registration; must meet state licensure requirement
- BLS certification within 60 days of hire
