Job Summary
Diagnostic Sonographer performs abdominal, small parts, OB/GYN, vascular imaging and provides sonography guidance for interventional procedures per department policies. Uses independent judgment with knowledge of equipment and positioning to deliver accurate imaging; completes procedures per physician orders; identifies patients with two identifiers; documents all aspects of procedures; maintains safety and high-quality imaging; transfers images to storage/retrieval systems and uses Excellian/EMR; communicates with supervisor and team and contributes to clerical/administrative tasks; requires ARDMS certification/eligibility and BLS as applicable. Role includes 8/12 combo day/evening shifts with occasional weekends; part-time (Casual 0.0 FTE). Pay range $40.08-$54.93 per hour with potential shift/differential; benefits package described. Works at Allina Health locations in Minnesota/Wisconsin region; non-profit employer with extensive benefits and E-Verify participation.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Vocational degree from an accredited School of Diagnostic Ultrasound or Vocational or Technical Training graduate of accredited School of Radiologic Technology and 2 year School of Diagnostic Ultrasound or Vocational or Technical Training graduate of accredited School of Radiologic Technology and ARDMS registered or registry eligible
