Job Summary
Conduct Diagnostic X-ray, fluoroscopic, and bone density procedures to assist radiologists in accurate diagnosis while maintaining ALARA radiation safety principles. Perform all imaging tasks proficiently in coordination with physicians, speech therapists, and other qualified staff within an interdisciplinary team. Utilize hospital information systems including EMR, scheduling, RIS, and PACS software applications. Provide high-quality patient-centered care in an ambulatory setting and serve as backup for staff absences. Requires JRCERT certification, current ARRT registration, and CPR/BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from a JRCERT (Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology) certified radiologic technology program
- Current R.T. (R) certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Current CPR/BLS Healthcare Provider certification
