Job Summary
Coordinate and perform bone densitometry scans, analyze data, and produce reports consistent with high-quality standards for interpreting physicians. Execute scans in accordance with ARRT, professional, and departmental standards while managing the DEXA patient schedule to accommodate emergent exams. Review images for technical quality, recognize artifacts and surgical implants, and accurately prepare physician reports in EPIC. Perform quality control testing, gather patient clinical history, and ensure thoroughness and safety of studies while prioritizing clinical needs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiology program
- Registered or eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
- Licensed by the State of Arkansas in Radiology Technology
- Bone Densitometry Technologist Certification within one year of hire
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
- Annual TB Screening
- Criminal Background Check
- Substance Abuse Testing
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced registry in Bone Densitometry
- Previous Bone Densitometry experience
- Two years experience as a Radiologic Technologist
