Job Summary
Radiologic Technologists perform a full scope of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, administer or assist with medications, document radiation exposure per policy, ensure patient identification and safety, and apply ALARA principles. They educate and monitor students and other health care providers, assist licensed practitioners across various settings (including operating room, ICU, and outside radiology areas), and ensure proper image acquisition, quality, storage/transfer, and confidentiality. The role emphasizes patient safety, imaging protocols, and compliance with federal/state regulations; it requires ARRT-R certification within 6 months of hire and BLS, with 1 year of related experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Radiologic Technology (Required)
- ARRT-R registry within 6 months of date of hire
- 1 year related work experience (Preferred)
- Basic Life Support Certification - BLS
- Radiography (R) - ARRT (ARRT)
- Education: Bachelor's Degree-Related Field of Study (Preferred)
