Job Summary
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures for patients from pediatric through geriatric, operating equipment and positioning patients to record requested images. Lead improvement initiatives and intra/interdepartmental committees, acting as a mentor to assist in team development and coaching. Provide onboarding/orientation preceptorship, serve as a clinical instructor for students, and lead annual continuing education opportunities. Full-time rotating shift from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM with every fourth weekend from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM; holidays rotated equally. Requires active ARRT status, Indiana State Department of Health license, and Basic Life Support certification. 3-5 years experience as a radiology diagnostic technologist preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must have general radiology skills
- Must have experience with fluoroscopy
- Must have experience with OR C-arm procedures
- Basic Life Support certification
- Active status as a Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Radiologic Technologist
- Ability to maneuver equipment
- Ability to improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning
