Diagnostic Radiologist

Remote General Radiologist needed to provide dedicated evening coverage for a high-volume imaging service based in Illinois. Read a broad range of general diagnostic studies with emphasis on acute and emergent cases, across CT, X-ray, ultrasound, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine/PET. Maintain a consistent, year-round evening schedule (2:00 PM – 11:30 PM CT) with coverage 7 days per week and 52 weeks per year; holiday coverage as assigned. Work as a 1099 independent contractor or locum, with 100% remote capability from anywhere in the U.S., supported by a robust technical infrastructure (RPCE platform, Powerscribe 4.0, integrated PACS/RIS; remote IT support). Productivity target is a minimum of 82 RVUs per shift; estimated annual study volume around 13,776. Requires ABR/AOBR board certification and active Illinois medical license (or willingness to obtain); prior remote reading experience preferred but not required.
