Job Summary

Diagnostic Radiologist (Neuroradiology / Nuclear Medicine Radiology) opportunity at the Phoenix VA Health Care System. Provides inpatient, outpatient, and emergency radiology services with subspecialty focus in neuroradiology and nuclear medicine. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Benefits include competitive salary up to $400,000 annually, potential sign-in bonus, EDRP student loan repayment up to $200,000, substantial paid time off, federal retirement/pension options, and CME reimbursement. Requirements include MD/DO degree, full unrestricted medical license, US citizenship per VA policy, and eligibility for EDRP; 24 radiologists currently in the department; includes a robust radiology service with multiple subspecialties and a commitment to quality and compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree from medical education
  • 1 full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State or territory
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted medical license
  • US Citizenship (per VA policy)
  • Subspecialty training in Neuroradiology and Nuclear Medicine Radiology
  • Board certification/eligibility in Radiology
  • Eligibility for EDRP is described but not required for all candidates
