Job Summary
Diagnostic Radiologist needed for long-term locum tenens remote general radiology coverage across Illinois facilities. Responsibilities include interpreting imaging studies across plain film, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine during evening (4:00 PM–12:00 AM CST) and night (12:00 AM–8:00 AM CST) shifts, maintaining a daily caseload of 70-80 RVUs per shift, and producing reports using Intelerad PACS and Powerscribe 4.0. Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology is required. This fully remote position supports telehealth workflow for inpatient and outpatient services across multiple facilities, with on-site support staff available as needed. Locations include telehealth coverage with remote work from Charleston, WV, USA, serving Illinois facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology
- MD/DO degree or equivalent medical degree
- License/certification as appropriate for practicing radiology in the relevant jurisdiction
- Ability to provide remote diagnostic radiology coverage
- Experience with radiology imaging modalities including plain film, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine
- Proficiency with Intelerad PACS and dictation systems (Powerscribe 4.0)
