Job Summary
Diagnostic Radiologist needed for locum tenens telehealth coverage in a facility in southern Alabama. Role covers CT, MRI, and ultrasound body imaging with an estimated daily volume of ~40 cases. Flexible coverage up to one week per month, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexible call and weekend schedules. Collaboration with multiple colleagues and chart review of residents. Site uses Phillips PACS and Powerscribe 360 for dictation; approximately 6 weeks of credentialing for a clean file. Fellowship-trained candidates preferred; licensing support available. Potential for full-time employment.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification in Radiology
- Fellowship training preferred
- Licensing support available
- Experience with CT, MRI, ultrasound body imaging
- Telehealth/remote radiology experience
- Ability to cover 8-hour daytime shifts
- No-call required (but flexible call/weekend schedules)
