Job Summary
Remote diagnostic radiologist needed to provide long-term telehealth coverage for multiple facilities in Illinois. Responsibilities include interpreting comprehensive diagnostic imaging studies (plain film, ultrasound, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine) during evening (4:00 PM–12:00 AM CST) and night (12:00 AM–8:00 AM CST) shifts, maintaining a daily caseload of 70-80 RVUs per shift, and generating reports using Intelerad PACS and Powerscribe 4.0. Fully remote position with 100% remote procedures and weekend coverage; board-certified Diagnostic Radiology is required. Location noted for Tampa, FL, US with remote work capability; assignment type is locum tenens/contract. Equipment and modalities include PF, US, CT, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine; government involvement is No.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO with board certification in Diagnostic Radiology
- Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology (Yes)
- Eligible for or currently possessing medical licensure in Illinois for telemedicine/remote practice
- Ability to provide remote diagnostic radiology interpretations seven days per week
- Proficient with Intelerad PACS and Powerscribe 4.0
- Experience interpreting plain film, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine examinations
