Diagnostic Radiologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage in Alabama

Provide remote telehealth diagnostic imaging interpretation services for CT, MRI, and ultrasound body studies at a clinic in Alabama. Interpret approximately 40 daily cases while collaborating with colleagues and reviewing resident charts. Utilize Philips PACS imaging and Powerscribe 360 dictation technology to generate accurate reports within established protocols. Shifts run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with up to one week of coverage per month. Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology is required, with fellowship training preferred. Licensing support is available, though credentialing for a clean file takes approximately six weeks. This position may serve as backfill for current clinicians with potential for full-time employment.
