Job Summary
Diagnostic Radiologist needed for locum-tenens coverage in an inpatient and ER setting with 100% remote telehealth radiology interpretation for night shifts (6:00 PM–3:00 AM), covering ED studies including plain film, ultrasound, CT, MRI, PET, and nuclear medicine. Caseload targets 82 RVUs per shift, with a 7-on/7-off schedule. Requires board certification in Diagnostic Radiology and the ability to interpret emergency studies remotely, across modalities (PF, US, CT, MRI, PET, Nuc Med). Location: Chicago, IL; assignment type: locum/contract. Remote emergency radiology coverage and telehealth capabilities are central to the role.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology
- MD degree or equivalent medical degree
- License to practice medicine in Illinois or ability to obtain
- 7 days on 7 days off scheduling experience preferred
- Experience with remote/telehealth radiology interpretation
- Proficiency in interpreting emergency studies including plain film, US, CT, MRI, PET, and nuclear medicine
