Job Summary
Interpret approximately 40-45 CT scans, 20 plain films, 1 MRI, 1-2 ultrasound studies, and 1 stroke CTA perfusion study per shift, with rare nuclear medicine reads, for hospitals throughout Illinois. Provide 100% remote diagnostic radiology interpretation services seven days per week from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM using Sectra imaging equipment and Powerscribe dictation technology. No call responsibilities are associated with this position. Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology is required. This remote assignment supports the regional network's inpatient and outpatient service lines.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology
- 100% remote diagnostic radiology interpretation services
- Interpretation of approximately 40-45 CT scans per shift
- Interpretation of approximately 20 plain films per shift
- Interpretation of 1 MRI per shift
- Interpretation of 1-2 ultrasound studies per shift
- Interpretation of approximately 1 stroke CTA perfusion study per shift
- Nuclear medicine reads
- Utilization of Sectra imaging equipment
- Utilization of Powerscribe dictation technology
- Night Shift availability (5:00 PM to 1:00 AM)
- Seven days per week availability
- Telehealth capability
