Job Summary
Diagnostic Imaging technologist performs radiographic procedures under the Radiology Medical Director, ensuring ALARA principles, maintaining quality and safety, assisting with fluoroscopic and interventional radiography, supervising students/residents, providing patient education, and participating in quality assurance and performance-imimprovement activities. Requires ARRT Radiography certification, state licensure, and BLS within 60 days of hire; minimum 5 years of radiography experience and an Associate degree in Radiology or equivalent program. Location: Brandywine, MD; standard hours 8:30am-5:00pm; full-time role in an imaging center.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Radiography Technologist
- Associates Degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and current registration
- State licensure requirement for practicing state
- BLS certification within 60 days of hire
