Diagnostic Medical (Ultrasound) Sonographer

Receive patients, explain procedures, and correctly position them for diagnostic examinations. Operate linear, sector, and endovaginal probes to perform obstetrical, pelvic, abdominal, small parts, and vascular sonography for patients of all ages. Interpret requests, conduct quality control checks, and assist physicians with invasive techniques like biopsies. Identify abnormalities, recognize anatomic variants, and notify physicians of significant findings requiring immediate attention. Maintain and clean ultrasound equipment, stock supplies, and institute emergency resuscitation measures as needed.
