Job Summary
Design and deliver daily lesson plans, lectures, and practical demonstrations aligned with program objectives. Proactively monitor student performance, maintain an 80% success rate, and collaborate with Student Services to address at-risk students. Manage all student evaluations, maintain institutional-grade records, and prepare final transcripts. Supervise lab sessions, demonstrate proper procedures, provide hands-on assistance, and enforce safety protocols. Coordinate guest lectures, community service, and clinical site visits, while assisting with externship coordination. Submit weekly attendance reports to office management and maintain open communication with student support staff. Work 20 hours per week in day classes Monday through Friday at the Renton Campus.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or CHEA
- A minimum of three (3) years of practical, hands-on experience in the sonography field as a sonographer or ultrasound technologist
- Active RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) credential
- Concentration-specific credential(s) in Abdomen (AB) and/or Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN)
- Current licensure or certification as required by local, state, or federal law
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency with modern office and educational technology, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
