Job Summary
Receive patients, verify PII, explain procedures, and position them for examinations. Operate linear, sector, 3D, and Doppler ultrasound probes to perform diagnostic scans including obstetrical, pelvic, abdominal, vascular, and musculoskeletal studies. Independently interpret requests, conduct quality control checks, and correlate clinical history with imaging results. Advise physicians of findings, notify them of critical cases, and assist with invasive techniques like biopsies. Maintain equipment, manage supplies, and document patient arrival and test completion per MTF policy. Work full-time as a U.S. citizen with ARDMS certification and 24 months of recent experience.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate. Graduate from an academic program accredited by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- Certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Current registration as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- 24 months of full-time experience within the last 36 months in a setting corresponding to the requirements of the task order
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
