Job Summary
Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, pelvic, OB, head, extremity, retro peritoneal, small parts, and vascular exams. Produce quality images in a complete, accurate, and timely manner while practicing radiation safety to reduce exposure to ALARA standards. Provide information and instruction to patients and families regarding procedures, responding to their physical and emotional needs. Observe patients and equipment during procedures to report and document unusual occurrences. Act as a clinical resource and role model for unit personnel by maintaining sensitivity to patient needs and assuring current standards of practice.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/G.E.D
- ARDMS registered RDMS(OB/GYN) or (AB) or (BR)
- ARDMS registered RVT(VT)
- ARDMS registered RDCS(AE) or (PE) or Cardiovascular
- Credentialing International (RCS)
- BLS through American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- Bachelor's Degree
- One (1) year of ultrasound experience
