Job Summary
Conducts daily operations in General Radiography and Portable Procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist. Responsible for obtaining vital signs, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring equipment cleanliness. Operates X-Ray equipment, assists in administering contrast media, and maintains Electronic Health Records. Requires proficiency in patient education and medical supply management, adherence to safety protocols, and participation in departmental quality assurance duties. Candidates must have completed an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and hold relevant certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate of completion from college or vocational school
- Successful completion of a Radiologic Technologist Program approved by JRCERT
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (ARRT-R)
- California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in RHT
- California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in RHF (within 3 months of hire)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (upon hire)
