Job Summary
Perform Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated MRI equipment to produce optimal images while accounting for individual patient special or age-related needs. Apply knowledge and judgment in regard to imaging factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment. Obtain Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist license upon hire, followed by national certification within six months. Work full-time across day and night shifts at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR, with a base pay range of $44.67 to $69.35. Eligible external candidates may receive a sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License upon hire
- Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Temporary License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire
- National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire
- OBMI temporary license
- Permanent license within 6 months of hire
