Job Summary
Diagnostic Imaging Technologist III responsible for CT and special procedures imaging with competency in CAT scan, interventional and surgical imaging. Operates x-ray and CT equipment, conducts venipuncture for contrast injections, processes images, ensures radiation safety, provides intra-operative imaging support (OR/IR) including mobile fluoroscopy, collaborates with Radiologists and OR staff, serves as preceptor for new staff, and maintains QA standards. Requires ARRT (Radiography and CT), CA and NV licensing, CRT, BLS, and 1–2 years of relevant experience; full-time night shift in Truckee, CA, with on-site (in-person) work.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate of completion from college or vocational school
- Successful completion of a Radiologic Technologist Program (JRCERT-accredited) with minimum Associate’s Degree (A.S.) or Radiologic Technology program or equivalent
- 1-2 years relevant experience
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiography (ARRT-R)
- ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) within 6 months of hire
- California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
- Nevada Radiologic Technologist license (or eligible; must obtain) with the requirement to hold both CA and NV licenses
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (with enrollment in RQI BLS program)
- Ability to operate x-ray and CT equipment
- Venipuncture for contrast injections
- Ability to adapt to new programs/equipment upgrades
- Standby and variable shifts
