Diagnostic Imaging Technical Specialist

Job Summary
Provide clinical services in multiple modalities, administering sound patient care practices and ensuring radiation safety for patients, staff, and self. Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition while demonstrating proficiency in both Xray and CT exams. Ensure quality patient care and customer satisfaction through optimal imaging and act as a resource to imaging students and other technologists. Develop and assist in continuous performance improvement within the department, demonstrating independent judgment to support an effective work environment. Stay abreast of current technology to show evidence of professional growth. Work Monday through Friday night shifts, 11p to 7:30a for two weeks, followed by Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday shifts, with on-call responsibilities on the second and third shifts during weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in two or more imaging modalities
- Demonstrates the initiative to stay abreast of current technology
- Evidence of professional growth
- Independent judgment
- Conduct both Xray and CT exams
- Work Monday thru Friday night shift, 11p to 7:30a for 2 weeks, then Friday evening, 3p to 11:30p, Saturday, 7a to 11:30p and Sunday, 7a to 11:30p for 2 weeks
- Be on call on 2nd and 3rd shift on the weekends
