Job Summary
Conduct clinical services in CT and Xray modalities according to imaging practice standards, administering sound patient care practices and ensuring patient safety. Perform and document routine quality control testing of equipment while recognizing the need for maintenance to maintain image quality. Communicate effectively with patients to obtain clinical history and informed consent, acting as a resource to imaging students and technologists. Assist in the development, review, and implementation of policies and procedures. This full-time night shift role (6:00pm to 6:30am, Sundays through Tuesdays) requires an ARRT-registered Radiologic Technologist with at least one year of hospital imaging experience and CT cross-training. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school/program of radiography
- ARRT registered as a Radiologic Technologist upon start
- Must obtain advanced certification in applicable modality within one year of training
- American Heart Association BLS within 3 months of hire
- Minimum of one year of imaging experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital/healthcare environment
- Must be able to perform in two or more modalities with at least even amount of time spent rotating in each annually based on needs
