Job Summary
Perform imaging examinations within both CT and Diagnostic Imaging modalities in a given shift. Operate a variety of x-ray and CT equipment to perform routine imaging, fluoroscopic, and operating room procedures according to established practices under the direction of a Radiologist, Supervisor, and Lead Technologists. Maintain progressive knowledge and a sense of responsibility in the daily operations of the Radiology department. This role requires a minimum of three years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging and/or CT, with a commitment to UVM Medical Center (UVMMC). Candidates must be a graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology, hold a valid CT state license, and possess ARRT certification in good standing. Weekend, holiday, and rotational call work may be required. Advanced CT certification by the ARRT is required within one year of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
- In good standing with the ARRT
- Holds a valid CT state license
- Advanced CT certification by the ARRT
- CPR certified
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging and/or CT
- Experience with students in an accredited School of Radiology
- Techniques and equipment
- Awareness of current quality assurance practices
- Superior technical skills
- Knowledge of the Radiology department
