Job Summary
Transport patients using safe and efficient methods while providing necessary care, safety, and monitoring during transport and waiting periods. Maintain equipment in proper working order by reporting malfunctions immediately and keep adequate supplies on hand. Provide overall support to the Diagnostic Imaging department in adherence to practice standards and requirements. This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Electronic Health Records systems. The position offers a base rate of $19.00 - $22.00 per hour and is part of a close-knit, mission-driven team at Springfield Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and collaborate with patients, healthcare workers, and providers
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, or the ability to quickly learn and effectively use EHR software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail
