Job Summary
Diagnostic Facilitator performs assessments of students to evaluate learning disorders and eligibility for special education services, collaborates with special education staff to develop student plans, conducts case-study evaluations, participates in IEP and 504 meetings, and helps design interventions and accommodations to maximize student success, while applying applicable laws, guidelines, and UVA policies.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Experience leading educational initiatives
- Online learning environments experience (preferred)
- Ed Diagnostic Certification (preferred)
- Doctorate Degree (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience as an educational leader (preferred)
