Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicles for guests across domestic and foreign makes, focusing on engine performance, transmissions, ABS/Braking, and advanced HVAC systems. Perform full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections while collaborating with the team to troubleshoot concerns quickly and meet weekly flag hour targets. Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization while navigating computer systems and operating manual transmissions. Work in a climate-controlled shop with consistent workload and access to manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience accurately diagnosing and repairing a wide range of domestic and foreign makes and models
- Strong technician expertise across major vehicle systems, including engine performance, transmissions, ABS/Braking, and advanced HVAC systems
- Meet or exceed 40-50 flag hours per week
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- The ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Efficiently navigate a computer
