Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicles for guests using knowledge of domestic and foreign makes, while completing full, accurate, and honest courtesy inspections. Continuously build expertise across major systems including engine performance, transmissions, ABS/Braking, and advanced HVAC by troubleshooting concerns quickly and effectively as part of a team. Follow high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization while communicating concerns with the service department to meet deadlines and deliver distinguished results. Work in a climate-controlled shop with consistent workload and access to manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience accurately diagnosing and repairing a wide range of domestic and foreign makes and models
- Strong technician expertise across major vehicle systems, including engine performance, transmissions, ABS/Braking, and advanced HVAC systems
- ASE Certifications (or Master Technician status preferred), or a demonstrated track record and plan to achieve
- Meet or exceed 40-50 flag hours per week
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record, and the ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
