Job Summary
Diagnostic Imaging Technical Specialist (X-ray and CT) for Alexandria, VA. Full-time role performing clinical imaging across X-ray and CT modalities, with duties including patient history/informed consent, routine quality control and maintenance of imaging equipment, policy development and support for Imaging Students and technologists; requires ARRT radiologic technologist certification, CT cross-training, two-modality experience, accredited radiography education, and at least one year of imaging experience. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance eligible; schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school/program of radiography
- Minimum of one year of imaging experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital/healthcare environment
- Must be able to perform in two or more modalities with at least even amount of time spent rotating in each annually based on needs
- CT Cross Training
- ARRT registered as a Radiologic Technologist upon start
- Must obtain advanced certification in applicable modality within one year of training
- American Heart Association BLS within 3 months of hire
