Job Summary

Oversee the successful planning and completion of educational programs for patient care, including conducting individual and group patient education sessions and maintaining appointment schedules. Maintain program accreditation, coordinate reporting for audits, and implement resulting recommendations while managing records of program activities. Schedule program work, oversee daily operations, and set priorities for managing the Diabetes Program suite. Purchase or approve the purchase of equipment and supplies needed by staff. Manage marketing and outreach to the community and prepare grant requests for funding continuation from outside sponsors. This full-time role includes a 40-hour week, Monday through Friday from 8:00-5:00pm, with a split schedule of four days in Haverhill and one day at the Andover location.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study
  • Registered Nurse [RN - State License]
  • 3-5 years Health Education &/or Literacy Experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Basic Life Support [BLS Certification]
  • Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist [CDE/CDCES]
