Job Summary
DI Aide in Diagnostic Imaging for night shift. Primary function is to provide support to the radiology team, including room preparation, patient transfer to/from Radiology, equipment readiness, and clerical duties. Responsibilities include assisting the radiologic technologist, ensuring safety and proper protocols, communicating with patients and team members, maintaining clean and prepared exam areas, handling documentation and CD uploads upon request, and supporting procedures and departmental standards. Requires teamwork, adaptability, and patient-centered care, with ability to perform duties under supervision of the Radiologic Technologist and Diagnostic Imaging Manager/Director. No prior experience required; education is a high school graduate or equivalent. The role involves occasional heavy lifting (up to 55 lbs) and exposure to clinical environments and potential hazards. Hours include varying shifts with a weekly schedule of 80 hours bi-weekly, primarily 9p-7a Monday-Thursday.
