Job Summary
Sr. OT Security Engineer for DHS-focused program; serve as the Cybersecurity Assessment Team's principal OT SME and help plan and execute OT security engineering design reviews, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response planning. Provide technical guidance to DHS on OT services security, threat analysis, and risk mitigation; perform hands-on assessments of OT systems and infrastructure to identify in-scope technologies, vulnerabilities, and corrective actions; help develop and implement secure OT policies and procedures compliant with federal regulations; collaborate with engineering teams and government stakeholders to integrate OT security into infrastructure design and sustainment; stay current on emerging threats and technologies to continually enhance program assessment procedures and security engineering considerations. Required 12+ years of OT security experience, TS/SCI clearance;Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security plus recognized security certifications (CRISC, CISSP, etc.). The role emphasizes communication skills, independent work, and teamwork in a DHS/Federal context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Cyber Security or related field
- CRISC, GISP, CASP, CISSP, or other advanced security certifications
- 12+ years OT engineering and security experience within DoD/Federal Government
- Experience with OT systems and security technologies (Platform IT, industrial control systems, special purpose networks)
- Strong understanding of OT security engineering principles and assessment references (NIST SP 800-82, ISA/IEC 62443)
- Familiarity with CISA Cybersecurity Alerts & Advisories information portal
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in a team
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Cyber Security plus related certifications; OR additional relevant experience in lieu of degree
- GISCP or other ICS security-related certification is a plus
- Active TS/SCI clearance (as indicated in the posting)
- Equivalent experience may be considered
- Ability to support DHS OT security program and ATO processes
