Job Summary
The Custodian performs custodial duties and minor maintenance to ensure facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. Responsibilities include collecting trash, cleaning surfaces, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting restrooms, and maintaining janitor closets and equipment. Applicants should have a willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques, be able to follow tasks independently or collaboratively, and have basic knowledge of housekeeping practices.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques
- Ability to perform custodial duties, minor maintenance and other miscellaneous duties
- Physical capability to handle routine walking, standing, bending, lifting heavy objects
