Job Summary
The DFCA Case Manager at Buckner Children and Family Services is responsible for coordinating and providing essential services to foster children, foster families, and foster adoptive families. Key responsibilities include ongoing case management, regular supervision and home visits, complete documentation of case files, crisis intervention, collaboration with educational institutions, and facilitating family visits. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in social work or related field and have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in English is required, with a preference for bilingual candidates. The role may require working nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in social work or other human services field
- Minimum of 2 years prior related experience
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Experience working with culturally diverse youth and families
Additional Requirements
- Must be age 21 or older to drive on behalf of Buckner
- Requires ability to work nights and weekends as required
