Job Summary
Coordinate and provide services to foster children and families; provide ongoing case management for clients in Buckner foster homes; conduct regular visits and maintain documentation to licensing standards; assist in child placing decisions; develop and monitor plans of service; provide crisis intervention and educational coordination; prepare reports; collaborate with schools, Post Permanency and placement agencies; train foster parents and recruit foster homes; participate in hearings and conferences as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in social work or other human services field required
- Requires a minimum of 2 years prior related experience
- Requires ability to work nights and weekends as required
- Requires ability to drive assigned vehicle or personal vehicle with appropriate state license
- Proficient ability to speak, read and write English; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
