Job Summary
DevSecOps Specialist to support a client in St. Louis, MO with a fully remote setup. Responsibilities include CI/CD pipeline development and management, automated software maintenance, security integration within development and deployment processes, Observability through monitoring/logging, and close collaboration with development, operations, and security teams. Requires hands-on expertise across the DevSecOps tech stack (GitOps with Argo CD/Flux, Terraform IaC, Kubernetes/EKS/GKE/AKS), strong CI/CD tooling (GitLab), container orchestration, image scanning and policy-as-code, security-hardening, and experience delivering in Agile environments. Must have an active DoD security clearance and meet DoD 8140 certification requirements; preferred experience with DoD cloud platforms and Federal work.
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD security clearance
- DoD 8140 certification
- Security+ or IAT/IAM Level II or above equivalent such as CSSP
- CKA, AWS Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps – Associate
- Strong experience in GitOps (Argo CD/Flux), IaC (Terraform), and container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS/GKE/AKS) at scale
- Expert in CI/CD (GitLab/Pipelines), IaC (Terraform), Kubernetes, Istio
- Observability: Prometheus/Thanos/Grafana, OpenTelemetry
- Image scanning (Trivy/Anchore), policy-as-code, secrets management, supply-chain hardening
- Thorough experience in Agile environment
