Job Summary
Onsite DevSecOps Engineer role at NSWC Dahlgren involving CI/CD deployment support, troubleshooting, pod spin-up, pipeline patching, and vulnerability management with STIGs. Requires containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift), cloud (AWS), monitoring (Argo, Grafana), and UI test tools (TestCafé Studio, Selenium, Cucumber). Collaboration with government client project manager; travel not required. Must have TS clearance and Security+/ACAS certifications; 6+ years of relevant experience and strong experience with Jira/Azure DevOps/GitLab/Confluence.
Required Qualifications
- Six (6) years of experience in DevSecOps, containerization technologies, and supporting CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) and development methodologies
- Experience with automated UI test tools (TestCafé Studio, Selenium, Cucumber)
- Infrastructure testing experience – GitLab, prod admin, ability to manage merge requests
- Ability to activate pods and troubleshoot Linux servers
- Significant experience with application monitoring tools (e.g., Argo, Grafana, RocketChat, RabbitMQ)
- Proficiency with Kubernetes and Argo
- Experience with Jira or similar work management tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab, Confluence)
- Security Certifications: Security+ and ACAS, epo 201, epo 301
- Clearance: Top Secret (TS)
- Bachelor of Science in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline preferred but not required (in lieu of BS, six years’ demonstrated experience)
