Job Summary
Contract DevSecOps Engineer to support the IRM pilot in Singapore. You will deploy, configure, and maintain platform services on enterprise Kubernetes (EKS) using Helm charts; implement portable infrastructure configurations for cross-cluster migrations; build robust CI/CD pipelines; and develop tooling in Golang with a Go-centric focus. Frontend dashboard components will be developed in TypeScript with pnpm, and you will contribute to monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure service stability for the Singpass pilot. The role involves BAU/onsite on-site rotations and participates in weekly sprints, RFCs, and ADRs, reporting to a Senior Tech Lead and SRE leadership team. On-site availability at GovTech HQ in Singapore for a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Golang (Required for all backend, automation, and systems tooling)
- Proficiency in TypeScript and pnpm (Required for frontend dashboard features)
- Kubernetes familiarity: hands-on experience or solid theoretical knowledge
- Cloud-native architecture
- Linux internals
- Code quality: clean, well-documented, and comprehensively tested code
- Ability to work in a sprint-based, governance-driven environment (RFCs and ADRs)
- On-site availability at GovTech HQ for the 12-month contract
